HECIS MISSION STATEMENT
HECIS is a not for profit organisation committed to providing quality early childhood intervention services to families under the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) as well as providing free support for the local community for any parents/carers seeking some early childhood education support prior to enrolment in a preschool or early learning setting.
The HECIS team supports families using a family centred approach.
We value and support a family’s choices for their child and work collaboratively with them, using a transdisciplinary key worker model to facilitate the transition and inclusion into mainstream and community settings.
We aim to engage in respective and responsive relationships with our client families.
Our programs will use evidence-based quality intervention practices to deliver measurable outcomes that are identified in partnership with families.
We will work collaboratively with the Early Childhood Education and Care industry to provide a range of supports to foster meaningful inclusion of children into their settings.
We seek to continually evaluate and improve our processes and service programs.
We expect staff to share their suggestions for improving any aspect of the HECIS program or operations, and support all improvements and innovations introduced.
We seek to attain best practice standards in all that we do.
We value the time, skills and experience of our staff. We will support staff development as they critically reflect on and strive for self-improvement in their knowledge and skills.
